Health Education & Testing

To reduce the prevalence of new HIV & viral hepatitis cases in Eastern NC, Engage ENC partners with local outreach testing agencies to provide rapid testing to clients. Rapid testing can render client results in 20 minutes. Any client who receives a positive result has the option of remaining connected to the testing agency for linkage to care.

To increase education and reduce the stigma around HIV & viral hepatitis, Engage ENC provides in-person group sessions around HIV & viral hepatitis. Through interactive sessions, clients have the opportunity to learn more about the facts around HIV & viral hepatitis as well as safe practices they can implement to reduce their risk.
