Myshalae Jamerson-Euring, PhD, LCMHC, CRC
Myshalae Jamerson-Euring, Ph.D., CRC, LCMHC, is an Assistant Professor and Research Director in the Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies, College of Allied Health Sciences at East Carolina University, Certified Rehabilitation Counselor and Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor.
Born and raised in North Carolina, Dr. Euring received her Ph.D. in Rehabilitation Counseling and Counselor Education from North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University and her M.S in Rehabilitation Counseling from Winston-Salem State University.
Her Dissertation titled “Mixed-Methods Analysis of Understanding HBCU Rehabilitation Counselors-in-Training Clinical Preparedness, Attitudes, and Knowledge Related to Working with Members of the LGBTQ+ Community” incorporates her research interests: disability and rehabilitation counseling related issues, multicultural issues in counseling, and racial inequity in society, disability awareness and clinical mental health care.
