Graduate Program Admissions
Applicants must first apply to the East Carolina University Graduate School. The requirements for entrance into the ECU Graduate School are as follows:
- a baccalaureate degree from an accredited college or university;
- completion of an online application to the Graduate School;
- two (2) professional letters of recommendation;
- official transcripts showing baccalaureate degree and any other coursework completed at a college or university;
- a minimum undergraduate GPA of 3.0, and;
- a statement of intent, indicating reasons for seeking a master’s degree in Rehabilitation Counseling.
- Casper situational judgement test
When the applicant is accepted to the Graduate School, the application is forwarded to the Department of Addictions and Rehabilitation Studies. A personal interview will be arranged by the department following an initial screening of applicant’s materials.
Casper
All applicants are required to complete Casper as part of their application. Casper is an online, open-response situational judgment test that takes 65-85 minutes to complete.
